Let Us Build Our Nation

South Africa has numerous child-headed families, with more than 60% of children growing up without their fathers, alongside high rates of child abuse and Gender-Based Violence. Unemployment is prevalent. It is crucial to recognize that the current situation cannot continue as is; we must not allow exceptional leaders and untapped potential to be squandered. It is time for us to come together as a community and take action to support these vulnerable children and families in South Africa. By offering resources, mentorship, and opportunities for education and employment, we can help break the cycle of poverty and violence. Every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment to grow and thrive. Let us stand up for those who need us the most and create a brighter future for the next generation. Together, we can make a difference and empower these young leaders to reach their full potential.

Pillow Talk Sept 2024

Pillow Talk For Girls

The Girl’s Pillow Talk project aims to create a safe and welcoming space for young girls to come together and connect. Through open and honest conversations, girls can support each other, share their experiences, and inspire one another to reach their full potential. By fostering a community of empowerment and positivity, this project encourages girls to believe in themselves, pursue their dreams, and navigate the challenges of growing up with confidence and resilience. Together, these girls can create a network of support that uplifts and celebrates each other every step of the way.

The Boy Child Talk

Through this project, boys are encouraged to express their thoughts, share their experiences, and support each other in a safe and welcoming environment. The Boy Child Talk initiative aims to break stereotypes, promote positive masculinity, and nurture self-confidence in young boys. By fostering open dialogue and encouraging emotional intelligence, the project helps boys develop the skills they need to navigate the complexities of growing up in today's world. Through empowerment and connection, the Boy Child Talk project is creating a community where boys can thrive and become the best versions of themselves.

Sanitary Towels

It's disheartening that items like condoms, which are a choice for some, are readily available while necessities like sanitary towels, which are not a choice, are not provided. We believe in offering free sanitary towels because menstruation is a natural process that girls experience involuntarily. Our initiative focuses on supplying sanitary towels to girls.

Outreach Project

Lebo Sekgobela's commitment to supporting Tumelo Home for the Handicapped in Orange Farm is truly admirable. By raising funds, spending quality time with the children, and organizing events, she is not only making a positive impact on their lives but also spreading love and kindness in the community. Her efforts go beyond just providing material support; they offer emotional support, hope, and a sense of belonging to those in need. The way Lebo selflessly dedicates herself to this cause serves as a powerful example of compassion and empathy. Her actions remind us all of the importance of reaching out to those less fortunate and the profound impact small acts of kindness can have on someone's life. Through her work, Lebo inspires others to step up, lend a helping hand, and contribute to making the world a better place for everyone.
